This is the Luna Lace Scarf from Shear Spirit . The original pattern is for a scarf. Since I wanted to knit a stole, I doubled the number of stitches. The blocked and completed stole is 24" wide by 60" long. The yarn is Alpaca with a Twist Fino in the Royal Velvet colorway. I used Addi Turbo lace needles in size 5. The stole is so wispy and light. As I took the photos, the stole was floating in the breeze. It is a lovely and easy pattern.The book, Shear Spirit, is beautiful. It has gorgeous photos, beautiful patterns, and very interesting stories. I highly recommend that knitters should check out this book.
